Drainage repairs scheduled on State Route 95 north of Yuma next week
Drivers travelling between Yuma and Quartzsite are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to repair several drainage pipes on State Route 95 north of Yuma from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily beginning Monday, Sept.10, through Friday, Sept. 14. Traffic will be stopped intermittently and drivers should allow extra travel time between Yuma and Quartzsite as minor delays are expected.

What to expect next week during work hours:
  • Traffic will come to a complete stop on State Route 95 between mile posts 57 and 60.
  • ADOT crews will escort alternating traffic through the work zone.
  • Delays of up to 15 minutes are expected.
  • Message boards will guide drivers through the area.
ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
