Special Meeting of Quartzsite Town Council- Fri. 1/14, 1pm New Vendor Board!

Vendors DO matter to the Town of Quartzsite!

On Dec. 28, 2010, the council voted to create a new Vendor, Swap Meet, and RV Parks Municipal Board. The following is the agenda for Friday, Jan. 14th's special meeting at 1pm to decide on the first members of this new board. If the council members didn't care about vendors, (as the rumors still continue around town) they would not have created this board to be a voice for the vendors! It may not be perfect, but as Quartzsite Town Manager Alex Taft said, "It's a start!"

011411 – SP2. Discussion and possible appointment of the following positions to the Vendor, Swap Meets/RV Parks Municipal Board. (not open for public discussion)

1. Vendor representative: Kenneth Lugee, Douglas True, Richard Trusty or Douglas Steward ~chose 1.
2. Health & Development Services Board representative: John “Skip” Gallup ~chose 1.
3. Business Chamber/Proud Neighbors of Quartzsite representative: Cecile Carnevale or Violet Kiss ~chose 1.
4. RV Parks/Swap Meet representatives: Daniel Duke and Randie Farish ~chose 2.
