COMMUNITY MEMBERS NEEDED
FOR COMMITTEE
La Paz County, AZ- Arizona Department of Health
Services and La Paz County Health Department
are looking for individuals
interested in joining the newly formed Community Health Committee
to discuss
ways community members can help shape the future of healthcare delivery in
La
Paz County.
Help us answer these questions:
What are
my community’s healthcare needs?
What
is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center?
How
does a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center affect access of care?
What can I do to improve the health
of my community?
There will be two meeting locations on May
23rd.
Community members can attend in
Quartzsite at the First
Assembly of God Church,
665 Tyson Rd from 11:00-1:00pm or
at the Parker Senior
Center 1115 12th St from 5:30-7pm.
Meals will be provided at each
event.
Who
should attend?
Community
members, underinsured, uninsured, healthcare providers, first responders,
law
enforcement, EMS, business owners, chambers of commerce, town and government
officials.
