Junior Quail Hunting Camp in KOFA

2010 Kofa Junior Quail Camp

Yuma, AZ – The Arizona Game and Fish Department will host a junior’s “Quail Hunting Camp” on the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge Friday October 22nd through Sunday October 24th. Additional activities include target archery and BB gun ranges, and quail biology workshops.

The camp is FREE with a refundable deposit, includes meals provided by the Yuma Valley Rod and Gun Club, and is open to all Arizona licensed junior hunters 17 years and under. Children age 13 and under are not required to have an Arizona hunting license and all juniors must be accompanied by an adult. Hunting mentors will be on site for safety and instruction and licensing will be available on site.
